'The remover of obstacles' One of the most worshipped of all Hindu deities, the elephant god, whose  devotion and perseverance in all aspects of life brings its rewards. Ganesh, the great scribe who was able to write down the oral knowledge of the ancient rishis, helping mankind in this current age of darkness, Kali yuga. Ganesh is propitiated before any serious undertaking such as journeys, marriages, schooling, building of homes and temples.
